SEAN
O'HALLORAN started
his film endeavors as a screenwriter — at the age of nine. Though
unworthy of praise or major awards, it was a noble endeavor adapting
his comic book series "Fireball & Lightning Bolt" into a
spactacular, albeit, confusing and unintentionally ridiculous story.
He went back to "school", reading scripts and books on
writing to work on his literary canon of over thirty plays and
screenplays.
Some of his works:
OH
BROTHER
(romantic comedy, feature, 1987)
A coming-of-age comedy of a young Eric, who refuses to grow up and move
off his sister's couch. His metal is tested when he is thrust into
double-blind-dating two "miss wrongs" on opposites sides of the law one
fateful night in the West Village.
THE RELEASE
(psychological horror, feature, 1990)
Owen cannot find the meaning in his life when he doesn't even
particularly consider himself human. His incestuous mother has left a
legacy too disturbing for him to maintain a meaningful relashionship,
and targets his clerical brother as the only "father" he will ever
know. In a freefall of a downward spiral, he regresses and recedes into
a life of bloodlust and unholy vengeance upon the race he no longer
finds himself a part of.
THE LOOP
(science fiction, psychological horror, feature, 1985-2010)
A brain-washed naval lieutenant and a self-destructive mad scientist
find themselves trapped in the effects of a man-made time fracture,
from which they are unable to escape. They are faced with the
consequences of inter-dimensional travel and take you on a labyrinthian
ride with two of the most lost and frustrated anti-heroes ever to be
depicted. The enigma entwines as the two attempt to stay alive, find
out what is real and escape The Loop.
UNTITLED SERIES (aka: WEEKEND AT TIFFANY'S)
(comedy, feature, HBO/Showtime Series, 1998-2010)
A mysterious drug infects the inhabitants of an assisted living
facility in the Bronx and turns their lives upside-down. What is this
drug? why doesn't it work on everybody? and who the hell is that little
boy living with Aunt Ernestine?
Youth is truly wasted on the young, life is wasted on the living and
everything you were told about the world you are living in is a lie.
Don't believe the hype. Find out for yourself. Who knows if death be
that which men call life and life, which men call death?
PRECISION
(science-fiction, 1989)
A genetically manipulated "human" bucks the system that created him on
his search for God. When he discovers the system is based on a pyramid
of lies, his search for God becomes a game of men, avenging the evil
they do.
